This property was owned by a family that lives in Plano, Texas. They bought the property 8 years ago as a home for their kids while they attended the University of Texas, and decided to sell it after the youngest graduated. I pulled the data on surrounding properties and we decided on a selling price. Once in MLS the home received four offers in the initial 48 hours. We were able to conclude the transaction 30 days after acceptance of the most advantageous offer.
Side note: Once we calculated the net proceeds, we realized that the appreciation of the property paid for all four years tuition and books for BOTH kids. What a great investment!
